El Portal is a collection of databases that provide free 24/7 access to resources such as newspapers, magazine and journal articles, and books such as encyclopedias. Materials are available for all age ranges and interests.
Comics Plus is a digital platform offering thousands of digital comics, graphic novels, and manga to readers, exclusively through school, public, and academic libraries. It is powered by LibraryPass.
Founded in 1996, our
501(c)(3) Non-Profit Public Library has become a vital, steadily growing and constantly evolving community resource. The Library strives to enrich the lives of many within the Village of Capitan and surrounding communities. The Library is governed by a 6-member Board of Directors and fully staffed by Volunteers.
The Capitan Public Library is primarily funded through private donations and proceeds from our Not 2 Shabby Shop thrift store.
