Every Wednesday - we have the roll off open at 4:30 PM for items too large for your poly carts.  Appliances, mattresses, and large furniture items are $6.00 each and tax will be charged. One cubic yard of waste is $22.00 plus tax. Please call for additional fees.  Located on Tiger Drive.  You must call and get on the list: 575-354-2247.

Poly-carts need to be placed at the proper location by 6:00am.

For proper collection please be sure to have your Poly-Cart out on time. Poly-Cart pickup for customers with 2 or more poly-carts, do not place poly-cart within 6 feet of another poly-cart, a fence, telephone, power lines and poles or any other standing structures. New roll off prices are now in effect. Call Village Hall for the new rates.

Yard Waste: Brush/Green Waste Disposal Service drop-off is scheduled every 2nd Saturday of the month.

You may also take items to Greentree Solid Waste Authority Facility located in Ruidoso Downs. This service is available Monday-Friday 8:30 am to 12:00 pm (noon). This service is for residential water account holders and will be free of charge. Residential customers must have a copy of their current month’s water bill from the Village of Capitan to provide to a Greentree Solid Waste employee.
